Barry Lennox
Biography
Barry Lennox is Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and Professor of Applied Control and Nuclear Engineering Decommissioning at The University of Manchester. He holds a Royal Academy Chair in Emerging Technologies and was the Director of the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence for Nuclear (RAIN) Research Hub. Professor Lennox is the academic lead for the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Collaboration (RAICo) programme, which aims to deliver robotic technology to support the decommissioning of fission and fusion facilities in the UK and CRADLE, the EPSRC funded Prosperity Partnership with Jacobs. He is the Chair of the UK Robotics and Autonomous Systems Network.
