Dr. Silvana Porco

Dr Silvana Porco coordinates the day-to-day activities, logistics, website, and finances of BrIAS. She gained her PhD degree in molecular plant biology from the University of Nottingham (UK). She was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles, USA). During her PhD, she worked on the role of auxin in lateral root development, while in her postdoctoral training, she worked on the root circadian clock.
