Andrea Roli is researcher and adjunct professor at Università di Bologna (Campus of Cesena). His main research interests and activities are in complex systems and artificial intelligence, with main focus on the relation between complex systems and cognitive processes. His current research activities are mainly devoted to bio-inspired robotics, emergent phenomena in complex systems, and information theory techniques for the analysis of complex systems dynamics. He is also interested in emergent phenomena in music, and in artificial creativity. He teaches courses in computer science basics, artificial intelligence and complex systems.
