AJung Moon
Biografie
Dr. AJung Moon is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McGill University, where she leads the McGill Responsible Autonomy & Intelligent System Ethics (RAISE) lab. Her interdisciplinary group focuses on understanding the social and ethical dimensions of robotics and artificial intelligence. With her background as an AI ethics consultant and having served as a Senior Advisor to the UN Secretary General's High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation, Dr. Moon's research bridges the societal imperatives of technology governance with the practical business/engineering constraints of responsible AI and robotics design. Her team's work has a been used globally, from contributing to the AI ethics assessment process at the Mila-Quebec AI Institute to roboethics student projects in Bangladesh. She is a member of the McGill Center for Intelligent Machines, the Bensadoun School of Retail Management, and an Executive Member of the Canadian Robotics Council.
