Description

“How do we collaborate in a sustainable way with robotics in the future?” is the core topic of the field of Human-Robot Interaction (HRI). As part of the Brias topic on sustainable robotics, we are organizing a forum consisting of two workshops on two subfields: the domain of HRI in surgery and HRI in EU manufacturing companies. As part of this forum, we will discuss the sustainability challenges of future Human-Robot interactions in these domains in-depth, and we will co-create solutions with the attendees in a multidisciplinary setting. With the output of both workshops, we want to synthesize a comparison of the debates in both subfields and will communicate these results to all participants and to the broader community.
