Paul de Knop Co-working Space

Our Paul de Knop co-working space, offers a flexible and productive environment for in-house researchers to work outside of their private offices. It’s the ideal spot to brainstorm new ideas, discuss research matters, or work on joint projects with colleagues in an open and inspiring setting.

Meeting room

The BrIAS Meeting Room is a fully equipped space perfect for both in-person and online meetings. It provides a professional and private environment for collaborative discussions, presentations, and virtual calls.

Reading Space

A tranquil new reading space is coming to BrIAS in the coming months. Designed as a cozy escape, this library will be a dedicated quiet zone where you can disconnect from the demands of academic life and enjoy a moment of leisure. The room will feature a diverse growing collection of books.

Laundry Room

Our laundry room provides a modern and efficient solution for BrIAS guests. The space is equipped with two washing machines and two dryers, which can be reserved in advance via a QR code or online link. For your convenience, the room also includes an iron with ironing board, and other cleaning supplies.

The Foyer is the heart of BrIAS, a vibrant and welcoming space where all our events and activities begin. With its spacious layout, it’s a place for fostering connections, sharing ideas, and building community. The Foyer features an open kitchen with all necessary utensils for catering and social gatherings, and provides seamless access to both the Seminar Hall and informal meeting areas.
The Seminar Hall is the primary venue for BrIAS-hosted and co-hosted events. This large, versatile room is fully equipped to accommodate a wide range of seminars, conferences, lectures, and presentations, making it a central hub for academic exchange.
